A dual British/French citizen, Ian Johnston joined Liberty Global as Finance Counsel in 2014, and following the spin-off of Liberty Latin America took on his current broader role there as Head of Corporate Finance in 2020. Ian manages the Liberty Latin America group’s debt structures, including all new debt raises, refinancings and support for the M&A team. Prior to joining Liberty Global, he trained and worked at Allen & Overy in London, Paris and Amsterdam for seven years in the Leverage Finance department. Ian holds a degree in Law and French Law from Oxford University.
